Paro Airport → Thimphu

Arrive at Paro International Airport, where you will be greeted by our representative against the backdrop of pristine mountains. Drive to Thimphu, the capital city. En route, take in the fresh Himalayan air and picturesque views. Check into your hotel and relax. In the evening, take a leisurely walk around the Thimphu market. Overnight stay in Thimphu.

Explore Thimphu Valley

After breakfast, full day sightseeing in Thimphu. Visit the grand Buddha Dordenma statue, the National Memorial Chorten, and the Motithang Takin Preserve. Explore the Folk Heritage Museum and the impressive Trashichhoedzong, a beautiful fortress housing government offices and the King's throne room. Spend the evening at leisure. Overnight in Thimphu.

Thimphu → Dochula Pass → Punakha

Drive to the stunning Punakha Valley, crossing the famous Dochula Pass (3,100m). On a clear day, enjoy panoramic views of the eastern Himalayan peaks. Stop at the 108 Chortens. Descend into the subtropical valley and visit the Chimi Lhakhang (Fertility Temple). Check into your hotel. Overnight in Punakha.

Punakha Dzong → Thimphu

Visit the majestic Punakha Dzong, the "Palace of Great Happiness," situated at the confluence of the Pho Chhu and Mo Chhu rivers. After exploring this architectural marvel, enjoy a short hike to the Khamsum Yulley Namgyal Chorten. Later, drive back to Thimphu and relax. Overnight in Thimphu.

Thimphu → Paro

After breakfast, drive to Paro. Visit the Ta Dzong (National Museum) and the impressive Paro Rinpung Dzong. In the afternoon, explore the ruins of Drugyel Dzong and visit Kyichu Lhakhang, one of the oldest temples in Bhutan. Spend the rest of the day preparing for the next day's hike. Overnight in Paro.

Paro → Taktsang Monastery

The highlight of your tour! After breakfast, hike up to the iconic Taktsang Monastery (Tiger's Nest), perched dramatically on a cliffside. The 5-hour round trip is a spiritual and visual delight, offering incredible views of the Paro valley. After returning, spend the evening at leisure. Overnight in Paro.

Hotel → Paro Airport

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Paro Airport for your onward journey. Board your flight carrying a treasure trove of beautiful memories from the Land of the Thunder Dragon. Tour ends with unforgettable experiences of Bhutan.
