Guwahati Airport → Shillong

Arrive at Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport in Guwahati. You will be greeted by our representative and drive towards Shillong. En route, visit the magnificent Umiam Lake (Barapani), a vast scenic reservoir surrounded by lush green hills. Arrive in Shillong by evening and check into your hotel. Overnight stay in Shillong.

Shillong → Laitlum → Cherrapunji

After breakfast, check out and visit the stunning Laitlum Canyons, offering panoramic views of the surrounding gorges. Later, drive to Cherrapunji, visiting the breathtaking Nohkalikai Falls (India's tallest plunge waterfall) and the Seven Sisters Falls. Explore the Mawsmai Cave before checking into your hotel. Overnight stay in Cherrapunji.

Cherrapunji → Nongriat (Living Root Bridge)

Today, embark on a thrilling trek to the famous Double Decker Living Root Bridge in Nongriat. Descend nearly 3,500 steps to witness this UNESCO-recognized bio-engineering wonder. Marvel at the intertwined roots of ancient rubber trees and take a refreshing dip in the natural pools. Trek back to the village and drive to your hotel. Overnight stay in Cherrapunji.

Cherrapunji → Dawki → Mawlynnong → Shillong

Check out early and drive to Dawki, a small town on the Indo-Bangladesh border. Enjoy a boat ride on the crystal-clear Umngot River, where the water is so transparent the boats appear to float on air. Later, visit Mawlynnong, awarded Asia's Cleanest Village, and see the Sky View Tower and the Balancing Rock. Drive back to Shillong by evening. Overnight stay in Shillong.

Explore Shillong

After a relaxed breakfast, explore the local attractions of Shillong. Visit the beautiful Ward's Lake, the Don Bosco Museum (showcasing North-Eastern culture), and the Elephant Falls. Spend the evening shopping for souvenirs and local handicrafts at Police Bazar, Shillong's vibrant market hub. Overnight stay in Shillong.

Shillong → Guwahati Airport

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive down to Guwahati. Depending on your flight schedule, you may visit the sacred Kamakhya Temple (please note the temple can get very crowded). Transfer to Guwahati Airport for your onward journey. Tour ends with unforgettable memories of Meghalaya's pristine beauty.
